FIRST CCS VISIT FOR YMCA ERDINGTON

Barry Brettell, our appointed Considerate Constructor's Scheme monitor, visited our team for the first time last March to evaluate the site and score on their efforts.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Considerate Constructor's Scheme (CCS), it is a national initiative which commits those sites and companies registered with the Scheme to care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment, secure everyone's safety and value their workforce. All CCS registered sites are scored on their ability to meet these standards of excellence.

We are so pleased to announce that the site team received 36/50 for their first CCS visit. This comfortably exceeds the national average score of 35.3. The initiatives adopted on this registered site include, circulating letter updates to local residents, recycling 100% of all waste and holding regular 'Toolbox Talks' for all site operatives.

Congratulations to the whole site team for working towards improving the image of the construction industry.
